A long season

Racó de Sóller closes its 2022 season on a high with notably increased bookings this year

Congratulations to Racó de Sóller on a particularly buoyant 2022. While the year has happily seen the return of numerous repeat-booking guests, once again returning to a favoured holiday spot, there have also been many new faces and a few surprises.

Overall, 2022 has seen this chic, self-contained destination in one of the most beautiful corners of Mallorca busy with bookings for nearing six weeks earlier and after its traditional season—that is busy between March and well into November 2022.

This is in line with some of the trends that travel experts predicted; the so-called "wanderlust rebound effect" as people, restricted by two years of pandemic lockdown, were eager to get back into travelling. But, perhaps it's also been partly due to the almost oppositional trend, the growing preference for self-contained holiday accommodation that feels "pandemic-proof".

Whatever the reason for the 2022 spike—and, let's face it, it might simply be because it's an exquisite, des-res holiday hangout—indications are that 2023 is set to follow a similar pattern if early bookings are anything to go by.

Racó de Sóller is a gorgeous five-bedroom holiday residence crafted onto and within the handsome structure of a traditional mallorquín farmhouse with views of both the mountains and the sea. Located in the northwest of the island, it offers easy access to the famed valley with which it shares its name and picturesque coastal towns such as Port de Sóller. Set amidst its own olive grove, on-site facilities include a swimming pool and home cinema in addition to the well appointed bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, reception rooms and a number of attractive garden and terrace spaces.
