The plastic arts

An article on African artists addressing—and using—waste plastic in their work written for Nesta Challenges

Recently, PROJECTile's Ken Pratt has been beavering away creating content for Nesta Challenges, part of Nesta, the UK's largest innovation foundation for social good.

Nesta Challenges is the part of the organisation that runs its prestigious prizes for innovations that promise solutions to pressing global challenges; from climate crisis and global health care, to technological innovation and overcoming social barriers to services and resources.

Within Ken's varied content for Nesta Challenges, we particularly like this recent article, probably because it combines his commitment to raising awareness about sustainability and his knowledge of contemporary art.
